Blues
Oniva started
out life as basically a ethnic Funky, Jazzy, Rocky, modern day four piece
Blues band from London, singing about life, love hope and despair and almost
any subject matter relating to living in today's London. Then they started
gigging and having fun and gradually realised that although London gives you
the blues, it can also have its happy moments. Especially where live creative
music is concerned. Thus what began as a blue experience commentiing on the
life in London and it's woes became an excuse for a party, and Oniva knows
how to party.
The band became so busy gigging that they found from time to time they needed
to recruit deps (substitute musicians) for gigs that the regular members were
unable to do. The band still remained a four piece when playing live but the
membership has increased. Also each new member ads a little something extra
special to the recipe.
