pretap music is the brainchild of Ike Leo. A musician of repute who has been writing music for as long as he can remember. A musician who has performed, recorded and toured with many well known and unknown artists covering a wide variety of the musical spectrum. Including artists such as Bjork, Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers, Galliano, Courtney Pine and Percy Sledge to name but a few.

The aim of the label is to promote and expose quality music associated with the musical environment of Ike Leo that otherwise would not have received deserved attention due to it's lack of commercial appeal. Over the next few months pretap will expose you to a wealth of amazingly diverse and extremely creative music destined to make a permanent mark in the music industry.

We start with five very different and interesting projects which will give an indication of the direction and the aim of the label.
